The Caribbean island of Bequia is Sanford Meisner's Home. Join us this summer to study at the legendary acting teachers home!

Sandy began summer intensive trainings at his home in Bequia in 1983. For nearly a decade, Sandy hand selected a group of students to study with him in a one-month, passionate and inspiring intensive program there on the island.

This summer, The Sanford Meisner Studio returns to its original training grounds for Level One Intensive.

TRANSPORTATION

All transportation costs from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Bequia are included in the cost of the Intensive. *All United States citizens must have a valid passport for re-entry into the United States.

LOCATION

The Caribbean island of Bequia is located in the southern part of the Caribbean chain known as the Windward Islands. Bequia is the second-largest of the thirty-two island chain that makes up the island state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Bequia measures just 7 square miles, and is home to only 5,000 people.

HOUSING

Students traveling Back to Bequia on this once-in-a-lifetime trip will stay in one of the island's charming villas, two to a room. With breathtaking views, and the gentle breeze of the Caribbean air, these mini-retreats will offer plenty of opportunity for rest, relaxation and creativity.

FOOD

Guests should plan their own menus and should expect to provide their own provisions. Each villa is equipped with a kitchen, and Bequia is very accommodating with many restaurants and bars. There are several easily accessible grocery stores on the island.

CLASSES

Led by Alex Taylor, students will be transformed as they study at Sanford Meisner's Home in the very classroom that he taught out of. . Each course will meet Monday-Friday for three hours of in-class instruction followed by daily rehearsals.

PROFESSIONAL 1

In this dynamic, daily intensive, you will learn all of The Meisner Technique's foundational exercises. Beginning with The Repetition Exercise and going step-by-step, you will strengthen the foundation for your acting career. In just four weeks, you will be amazed at how much you have grown as an actor and have real-world skills that you can apply to all your future auditions, callbacks and jobs.

MASTER CLASS

Open to all alumni of our 2-year Professional Acting Program, or other qualifying program. Please call to verify eligibility. In this jam-packed intensive, you will collaborate with other artists in advanced scene study, script interpretation, character work and engage in breakthrough exercises that will take your acting career to the next level!

COST

This four-week, career changing experience which includes round-trip airfare from Miami International Airport, transportation to the island of Bequia, lodging and your acting training is only $4,800.
